FAQs
We love our books being used in the class environment and if you aren’t seeking to profit from it we won’t charge you. Just make sure you get permission from us. To secure permission for that you can find more information HERE.
No they aren’t. Our picture books are first and foremost intended for children who are pre-literate, and we hope our stories will give imbue them with the conviction that books are for them before they’ve begun the mechanics of learning to read. They are also intended to be read to children rather than by them – we strongly advocate for reading with children.
Our picture books are not yet available as ebooks – current technology means the best way to enjoy a picture book is still looking together at that huge “double-page spread”. But we’re always looking at new advances to see when our moment to go digital might come.
They certainly are! If your local bookshop does not stock one of our titles please request it – our warehouse can ship to most bookshops overnight and we are strong supporters of shopping local.
Because we are a small team, we can only accept unsolicited manuscripts for one day per year. (And then we usually get upwards of 700 stories!) Keep an eye on our social media to find out when the next one will be – you’ll find more information on that HERE.
